This single site McLaren Vale Shiraz is grown on our property in Blewitt Springs. On sandy soil at 140m elevation, these vines produce fruit with great purity and elegance.
This wine was fermented using 100% whole berries and fruit was left on skins for 7 days. Post primary ferment, the wine was filled to French oak puncheons of which 28% was new oak. This parcel was matured on lees for 9 months to encourages texture and retain vibrancy. This wine was barrel selected and blended in January 2023. Only 103 dozen made.
