AROMA
Red berries jumping out of the glass, a hint of Campari, floral, hot cinnamon spice and berry compote.

PALATE
Bright berry fruit burst, spices continuing to play through the palate, jumpy acid and amazing long chewy savoury tannins. Touch of forest floor alpine freshness. Medium bodied and delish!

WINE & VINTAGE
2023 was the third year in a row impacted by La Nina, which meant a long cool ripening period and solid rains leading up to harvest. Grenache in some parts of the Vale suffered with a terrible set in the cooler weather, and a very low crop- but thankfully the Taranga vineyard was spared and we were thrilled to have some awesome parcels of grenache to play with.

HISTORY
With 100 ha of premium grapevines on the Taranga property, the Oliver family has over 50 blocks representing different grape varieties, clones, soil types & vine ages.
