Darwin, we always love bringing you fabulous wine events, and we are back for 2024!
To kick things off this year, we’re bringing you one of our favourite women of wine of all time: Louise Hemsley-Smith, and her extensive portfolio of wines from her Bosworth Wines range.
Her wine brands include Battle of Bosworth, Spring Seed Wines and Springs Road Kangaroo Island. Based in McLaren Vale (with additional vineyards on KI), Louise’s family were the first to convert their vineyards to Certified Organic over 25 years ago. And they’ve been going from strength to strength ever since.
Don’t miss your chance to meet Louise, try her wines for yourself and have a fabulous night out with other wine loving women at the same time!
Come on your own and we’ll seat you with other wine lovers, or grab your best wine loving girlfriends and come together. Either way you’re in for a totally fabulous night! And for this one we’re going to sip these glorious wines with Darwin’s water views on show at Wharf One. The chefs there are putting together a bespoke menu especially to match Louise’s wines.

WHAT ARE THE FABULOUS LADIES’ WINE SOCIETY EVENTS ABOUT? This is all about bringing together women who love wine and introducing you to women who produce wine! Over an evening of wining, dining, learning and laughing. Most importantly, as a wine drinker and buyer, you are given the chance to directly support the women who make it.
WANT TO COME WITH FRIENDS? Great! You can book separately, or together, and we’ll make sure you’re seated together on the night.
THINKING OF COMING ON YOUR OWN? That’s no problem either! Lots of people do. And we’ll seat you with some fabulous wine loving women who’ll quickly become new friends.
Terms & Conditions of Booking
Tickets: Don’t worry about printing your tickets, as we will have a list of registered names at the door!
Seating: Want to be seated with a particular group of people? No problem! Just make your preferences known on arrival at the venue and we’ll be sure you all wine and dine together. If you have a group larger than 4, please advise us prior to the event by emailing hello@fabulousladieswinesociety.com
Arriving late: Please note that late arrivals are permitted, however you may miss out on any wine or food that has already been served.
Cancellations: No refunds are permitted. We know this is strict, however hospitality has tight margins and events are tough to execute at the best of times – COVID just made all that tougher. Your ticket is fully transferable though so you can send someone else in your place. Just let us know so we’ve got the right name at the door.
Dietary restrictions: We are more than delighted to try and cater for any dietary restrictions, however our ability to do so is dependant on the venue we are working with. You must submit your dietary request at the time of booking in the booking form OR email us at hello@fabulousladieswinesociety.com with specific details.
