Our incredibly popular tour of Sparkling Tasmania is set to roll again in 2026 and we’re calling all lovers of prestige bubbly to join us. If you have a deep appreciation for sparkling wine, this will be one trip you absolutely do not want to miss.
Starting and finishing in the gorgeous city of Launceston, this tour is focused on showing you some of Tasmania’s best bubbly, and introducing you to some of the incredible women who produce it.

THURSDAY 30 April: WELCOME TO THE LAUNCESTON AND THE START OF YOUR SPARKLING DELIGHT
Arrive into Launceston and make your way to Hotel Verge, home for the next three fabulous nights.
Check in, kick back, relax, maybe take a wander around nearby. Then it will be time for your delightful welcome dinner, where you will enjoy a delectable start to your gorgeous Sparkling Getaway and an introduction by Jane to the region’s exquisite offerings…
Dinner this evening is at Stillwater, recognised as one of the premier dining experiences in Tasmania, accompanied by delicious sparkling & local wines.

FRIDAY 1 May: SPARKLING ADVENTURES
After breakfast this morning, you will join your fellow sparkling lovers and transfer to your first, fabulous wine day in the Tamar region.
First stop is House of Arras, one of the world’s most internationally successful sparkling wine producers! Which happens to be based right here in Tasmania. We will be hosted by their amazing cellar door manager Ebony and senior winemaker Kathryn, and taste some of the best bubbles during this very special visit.
Then to Marion’s Vineyard and the fabulous Cynthea Semmens, winemaker and co-owner. We’ll join her for a tasting and a gorgeous lunch.
It’s then time to head out for an afternoon sparkling class with Jansz and a divine evening of bubbles and private dining. We’ll be hosted by chief winemaker Teresa Heuzenroeder. Jansz open their cellar door after hours especially to host us for this magical experience!
Back to the hotel for a great night’s sleep after a gorgeous day and to get ready for tomorrow!!

SATURDAY 2 May: FABULOUS WINES, GORGEOUS DINING AND SO MUCH MORE
Today more sparkling gorgeousness as you spend time in these amazing wineries and indulge in the wine magic they create.
Post breakfast you’ll have time to explore Launceston, head to the weekend markets next door to Hotel Verge or just relax and unwind.
We then head to Josef Chromy, where exquisite sparkling wines are made alongside their famed pinot noir. You’ll be hosted by viticulturist Kellie Graeme, and winemaker Yael Sandler who will guide us through the range before joining us for a divine three course lunch in the restaurant.
This evening we head for a private tasting and light dinner with Bellebonne founder and winemaker Natalie Fryar, who specialises in Tasmanian sparkling and whose wines win international awards with increasing regularity.

SUNDAY 3 May: A MORNING OF FINAL FABULOUS WINE
This morning indulge in a light brekky as it is then time to check out, depart and arrive at Delamere Estate for our last fabulous wine experience with Fran Austin, fabulous woman, founder, co-owner and more – she is a dynamo.
Fran is the co-owner and winemaker at Delamere Vineyards, one of the original vineyards planted in the Pipers Brook region which she and her husband acquired in 2007. Fran’s wines have been winning trophies in local and national wine shows for many years. There are currently six sparkling wines in the portfolio, and all are produced from 100% estate grown fruit and are all made on site. Fran’s interest in Champagne style wines trace back to her days studying winemaking at Adelaide University. With many years of winemaking experience in top wine regions around the world, including Burgundy, Oregon, Yarra Valley and the Adelaide Hills, Fran chose to settle in Tasmania due to the unparalleled fruit quality.
A beautiful tasting followed by a lazy brunch creates a perfect end to a great escape.
We will finish here and then transfer directly to Launceston Airport , arriving by 2pm at the latest. So flights are safe from 3pm onwards!

A minimum of 10 guests is required for this tour to depart. The maximum number of guests is 14. If minimum numbers are not reached, we will discuss this with you well before departure to finalise how to proceed i.e. re-quote with less participants or cancel the departure. If we cancel the departure your tour deposit will be refunded.
We do not refund deposits for any other reason than we cancel the departure. We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance to protect against cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances.
A reasonable level of fitness and mobility are required due to uneven terrain to participate on this tour. You will be walking in vineyards, hilly areas, and navigating steep stairs – and you will need to be able to participate in all activities.
It doesn’t often happen, but please note that the advertised itinerary may change without notice. Sometimes things are beyond our control and changes need to be made. Please be assured that any changes will be of the same quality as the replaced visit or experience wherever possible.
