And here in Australia our cool-climate regions are now producing some of the most exciting Pinots on the planet. Here’s where to look if you want the very best.

Mornington Peninsula (VIC)

Fresh sea breezes and a cool maritime climate give Mornington Peninsula Pinots their signature style: silky, perfumed and red-berried, with a brightness that makes them instantly charming.

Yarra Valley (VIC)

One of Australia’s most historic wine regions, the Yarra is Pinot country through and through. Here the wines lean savoury and earthy, with gentle spice, fine tannins and a refined elegance.

Tasmania

Tasmania’s pristine island climate is a dream for Pinot. Long days, cool nights, and clean air produce wines of purity and finesse, brimming with cherry, plum, bright acidity and subtle earthy notes.
