Wine Rules: Fitzroy Foodies for Homelessness 15 Nov 2014

Wine Rules 2014 Fitzroy Foodies for Homelessness[1]Calling all Melbourne fabulous ladies!! Enjoy a wine tasting masterclass with UK wine expert Matthew Jukes all while raising money to support services for the homeless in Melbourne.

On Saturday 15th November, Matthew Jukes will host a masterclass featuring 10 wines and 10 matching canapés chosen to complement each other. Matthew will discuss each of the wines in detail. All monies raised on the night go towards St Mary’s House of Welcome, a support service for the homeless of Melbourne.

Guests will receive a booklet to keep with information about each of the wines and canapés tasted, including where to buy the wines and suggested restaurants to try over the Christmas period. You can view the list of wines available for tasting on the website (which will be updated as more wines are confirmed).

Matthew Jukes has long been a patron of homelessness support organisations; in fact he has helped raise over $1.2 million over the last decade for four Australian homeless charities. Matthew was made honorary Australian of the Year in the UK by the Australia Day Foundation in 2012 for his contribution to Australian homeless charities and his support of the Australian wine industry in the UK.
