Why has Tasmania become a beacon of wine and food produce? Come to VIN Diemen and you just might discover the reason. VIN Diemen is the event formerly known as Tasmania Unbottled in a new and thoroughly more exciting outfit.
Hitting Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney in a few short weeks, VIN Diemen is a celebration of all the gourmet island has to offer – particularly wine.
Expect a hit parade of Tasmania’s celebrated wines, including sparkling, Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Tasmania’s wine is as diverse as its dramatic landscape, with Clover Hill, Tolpuddle, Glaetzer Dixon, House of Arras and Stefano Lubiana just some of the 26 + strong line up of wine producers on show.
And it’s not just about the brilliant wine line up. Tasmanian ciders will also be on show, and Frank’s and Willie Smith’s will be on hand to prove why the Apple Isle is Australia’s spiritual home of cider. To round out the list of award winning beverages, Lark Distillery will be pouring its new Forty Spotted Gin for VIN Diemen guests in Sydney and Melbourne.
Festival-goers will need to eat of course, and celebrated chef David Moyle from Franklin in Hobart, plans to showcase Tasmania’s pristine produce for guests to enjoy over a beverage or two at the Sydney and Melbourne events. Tasmania’s famous fresh produce will also be on offer for guests attending the Brisbane event.
Tickets are now on sale and include a take-home wine glass as well as access to all the wines on tasting.
