The Adelaide Hills’ first Prosecco

Prosecco lovers rejoice! Because the world’s favourite sparkling wine now has a new home in the Adelaide Hills – thanks to ArtWine.

“We understand that we are the first Adelaide Hills Cellar Door with its own estate grown Prosecco from our Woodside vineyard,” says ArtWine’s Judy Kelly.

Prosecco originates in northern Italy. The name is derived from that of the Italian village of Prosecco near Trieste, where the grape is thought to have first come from. The sales of Prosecco globally have recently overtaken that of Champagne.

ArtWine’s Prosecco has delicious florals and fruit on the nose leading to a palate of apple and pear with hints of stone fruit. Low in alcohol at 11% it’s the ultimate sparkling aperitif.

And how can you not love that Tiffany blue stripe on the label?!

The new Prosecco nestles alongside its other Italian Artwine friends of Pinot Grigio, Fiano and Montepulciano. The latter two are currently in the Trophy “taste off” for a Winestate Wine of the Year category.

Artwine has won several trophies and numerous awards and accolades, with the most recent Trophy won at the Australia & New Zealand Boutique Wine Awards for their Adelaide Hills Coco Sparkling.
