Vendor Biography

An easy 30-minute drive from Canberra, Four Winds Vineyard is a perfect way to escape for a day amongst the vines.

You can enjoy a lunch of wood-fired pizzas or build your own platter from a selection of gourmet items from our deli fridge. There is space to sit inside the cellar door overlooking the vines or outside under our large undercover seating area.

Four Winds Vineyard is co-owned by Sarah and John Collingwood and includes a micro-winery, vineyard and cellar door in the Canberra District. Sarah was named Australian Women in Wine owner/operator of the year in 2017 and was part of Wine Australia’s Future Leaders program in the same year.

She ran a successful crowd-funding campaign in 2014 to expand the winery. Sarah then used this space in 2015 to recruit two neighbours and turned four tonnes of spare shiraz grapes into wine which raised over $46,000 for refugees and asylum seekers living in Canberra.

The Four Winds Vineyard packaging was awarded two international design awards for their photography series of labels. In 2019 the business expanded to include a second vineyard and larger winery.
