At Gemtree we farm our estate vineyards organically and biodynamically. This philosophy rewards us with fruit full of flavour and purity; these are the gems from which we craft our fine wines.
This Tempranillo has enticing aromas of raspberry and cherry cola. Vibrant and aromatic, the wine has flavours of red cherry and raspberry fruit with a hint of saucisson. Our Luna Temprana is round and full, finishing with fine integrated tannins.
Luna Temprana is a fresh and fruity joven style of Tempranillo. We take a hands-off approach to winemaking, allowing the flavours developed in the vineyard to shine. The Tempranillo grapes are hand-picked, cooled and left to sit on skins for seven days. The grapes are lightly pressed, and using the free run juice only, fermentation was held at 20 degrees to retain all the varietal definition we tasted in the vineyard.
Try slightly chilled in the spring and summer months with pulled pork or spicy black bean sliders with a generous lashing of chipotle mayonnaise.

Free shipping on orders $250 and over. Shipping charge of $20 for orders under $250.
SOUTH AUSTRALIA
We are pleased to be freighting our wines throughout South Australia by supporting local small courier businesses. Delivery may take up to +-7 working days. A tracking link is not always available through our selected transporters but please feel free to contact orders@gemtreewines.com should you require further information about your expected delivery. If you would like to have your parcel left at your address if you are not there, at the checkout please tick the box that you give authority for the delivery to be left and provide the instructions for the location eg under side verandah.
REST OF AUSTRALIA
We are pleased to be freighting our wines interstate through the Australia Post Wine Service. Delivery may take up to 10+ working days.
Australia Post have advised that all parcels – be it at a Post Office or at a residence – will no longer require a signature for delivery or collection. If you would like to have your parcel left at your address if you are not there, rather than needing to go to the post office to collect it, at the checkout please tick the box that you give authority for the delivery to be left and provide the instructions for the location eg under side verandah.
You can expect to receive an email or SMS from Australia Post providing tracking details for your order.
AUTHORITY TO LEAVE:
If you provide authority to leave the delivery, Gemtree Wines is not liable for any loss or damage to the parcel once delivery has been confirmed.
DELIVERY ATTEMPTS
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure all delivery information is correct at the time of placing an order. Non- delivery due to inaccurate information or unforeseen circumstances will be charged as per the agreed prices.
Goods requiring re-direction to an alternative address or futile delivery due to inability to gain access to the premises resulting in a new delivery will incur an additional delivery fee. Any re-deliveries that occur due to incorrect address details, or if the recipient is unavailable for delivery, will incur an additional delivery fee.
