Pink bubbly stuff. There’s an enormous spectrum of styles and flavours that are all referred to as Sparkling Rose.
There are some that should only really be enjoyed in a room full of giggling women while you stuff your face with iced cupcakes. While others have more complexity and demand a little more respect and...well…possibly even a bended knee and a diamond ring.
This lightly blushing offering from Nova Vita is of the dry, sophisticated variety – but certainly doesn’t lack in the strawberry and lifted fruit flavours that make the other kind so inviting.
Nova Vita Wines is a small family business in the Adelaide Hills, run by Mark and Joanne Kozned. And the Firebird is a Russian mythical bird that only a happy or lucky person may see hear its song.
Blushing with delicious flavours of toasted brioche, pear and strawberry this is a sparkling wine that – despite being of the more “serious” variety – will definitely help you find your party pants.
Made from Pinot Noir, the fruit gives the wine it’s pale pink colour as well as it’s classic yeasty and strawberry flavours. It’s soft and creamy and wonderfully balanced. Definitely one to discover and enjoy whenever a classy pink sparkling is needed.
An excellent wine to tuck under your arm and take with you to Springtime soirees and Christmas parties, it matches well with a wide range of canapes of the non-iced-cupcake variety.
