Why Are They So Fabulous?

Something for everyone. An oft used phrase but in this case, it is absolutely true! Happs Wines is a very unique experience with a wine to suit absolutely every taste.

Thirty grape varieties are grown by Happs Wines, and many, many wine styles are produced. Every single one of these wines are available to taste every day.

Take your palate on a journey from 11 sweet wines including the famed Fuchsia, preservative free wines, dry table whites and reds, and single vineyard options too.

If that isn’t enough, round out your visit by exploring their art and pottery gallery. Enjoy the views from our extensive lawn and gardens. Have a picnic, you could even get married, attend an outdoor film evening or perhaps a musical event.

See, I told you – something for absolutely everyone!

Which Wines Should I Try?

Happs Cremant Sparkling Chenin NV – French-style bubbles are named for their region or style, and Cremant is a worthy style to seek out. Made in the traditional French way, using Chenin Blanc grapes, you can expect a crisp, mouth watering aperitif style bubbly. Perfect with warm weather, sparkling company, and seafood.

Happs Fuchsia 2014 – Produced and loved for 30 years in West Australia, see what the fuss is all about! Berry flavours, soft acidity, some sweetness and the inevitable slight astringency that is to be expected from red grapes. A light spritz lifts the aromas and cleanses the palate. Serve ice cold, with ice cubes or make a spritz with soda water and a twist of orange.

Three Hills Single Vineyard Grenache Shiraz Mataro – coming from a cooler part of the Margaret River, this is more a McLaren Vale style rather than a Barossa blockbuster. Medium to full bodied with rich red fruits, cherry cola and forest floor flavours combining with hints of black olive and fresh herb. The palate is soft with fine grain tannin, a long slightly chalky finish and an intense cherry after-taste.
