South Australia’s women in wine are putting on a fabulous Christmas party in downtown Adelaide

Australia’s biggest celebration of women in wine for 2021 will be taking place in Adelaide on Sunday 5th December, as some of South Australia’s best female talent gather to pour their wines at a pop-up Christmas wine tasting event.

The ‘Fabulous Festive Fiesta’ will run from 2pm to 6pm in the grounds of Treasury 1860 and give wine lovers the chance to meet the women behind some of South Australia’s best wine brands, taste their latest releases and stock up for the festive season all in the one place.

Over 100+ wines will be available for tasting (and buying) from a wide range of producers and SA regions including McLaren Vale, Adelaide Hills, Coonawarra, Langhorne Creek, Kangaroo Island, Barossa Valley, Eden Valley and Clare Valley.

The event is a collaboration between The Fabulous Ladies’ Wine Society and local Adelaide wine identity Kate Giles.

“There have been so few opportunities to celebrate women wine this year. Being able to bring so many of South Australia’s most amazing female talent together in the one place and put on a party is very exciting indeed,” said Jane Thomson, founder and CEO of The Fabulous Ladies’ Wine Society. “This will be the one Christmas bash you don’t want to miss!”
