In December 2018, Fifth generation vignerons, Nicole Clark and brother Brad Case, opened their first cellar door on the house block in Langhorne Creek.
With a rich family heritage and strong family values, it was important for Nicole and Brad to bring families together in a relaxed and interactive environment.
Kimbolton Cellar Door is architecturally and sustainably designed and built out of 4 repurposed shipping containers, with one still having the original doors, opening out onto the cellar door deck.
The cellar door has a unique feature of a rooftop viewing deck (one of only two in South Australia) which takes in the views of the 56-year-old vines and sweeping views of Langhorne Creek. The rooftop deck, amongst the treetops, is a memorable and “Instagram-able” experience engaging all generations.
Each wine in the Kimbolton range is sourced from individual vineyard sites to showcase the sensational Langhorne Creek regional characteristics. Whilst they make wines from classic varieties they are also innovators in the region trialing alternate varietals including Montepulciano, Fiano and Carignan. Nicole and Brad make 3 different Montepulciano’s, the dry red, the Rose, and the Sparkling Montepulciano (Bella Monte).
