Top 15 favourite Chardonnays. Is yours on the list?

We recently had a fabulous lady, Penny from NSW, ask:

“Can anyone recommend a good Chardonnay? It seems I have not had a good Chardonnay in forever, I am not a fan of the oak I suppose, so any unwooded varieties would be great!”

Sure, we could have provided our own haughty opinions, or we could have directed her to our wine reviews section to find a Chardonnay to suit.

But instead we put that question out to you, our community, via those shady online bars known as Facebook and Twitter. And the response was so wonderfully overwhelming, we thought we’d share it here.

Just which Chardonnays are fabulous ladies everywhere enjoying right now? Here’s 15 of the most nominated Chardonnays! Is yours on the list?

Although I normally have a preference for unoaked chardonnay, the Tyrrell's Vat 47 is superb. It varies quite a bit from one vintage to another but for complexity, length of flavour, and crisp acid finish, you can't go past it.

You forgot my beloved Scarborough Chardonnay!
