We don't leave anything out

There's no surprises and no hidden charges. When we say something is included, it's included! So all you need to do is relax & enjoy.

Most people give the Adelaide Hills an afternoon. We’re moving in!

Join us to meet the remarkable women behind some of Australia’s finest cool-climate wines, over a glorious long weekend.

The Adelaide Hills is where cool-climate elegance meets storybook scenery, where stone villages hide among towering gums just twenty minutes from Adelaide, and where some of the country’s most exciting women in wine are quietly producing world-class sparkling, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Over one glorious long weekend in late spring, with the vines in full leaf and the evenings long and golden, you’ll discover this incredible wine region in the most fabulous way possible!

This isn’t about ticking boxes at cellar doors. It’s about slowing down, settling in, and truly connecting: with the women behind the wines, with the growers and producers who bring the region’s terroir to table, and with a small group of like-minded women who share your love of wine, food and meaningful travel.

From meeting a Champagne-trained sparkling winemaker at a family-owned cellar door to a sommelier-led dinner in a tiny Hills township, from vineyard walks with the women who tend the vines to three courses beside South Australia’s best wine cellar, this is the Adelaide Hills revealed from the inside out. And with every detail hosted and carefully curated, all you need to do is arrive, pour a glass, and savour the experience!

The Adelaide Hills women in wine you’ll be meeting and sipping with:

  • Kate Laurie – Winemaker at Deviation Road, who studied her craft at the Lycée Viticole d’Avize in Champagne itself and now handcrafts some of Australia’s very best sparkling wines
  • Lucy Croser – Co-producer of the DAOSA sparkling range and daughter of Australian sparkling legend Brian Croser AO, growing exceptional fruit at Tapanappa and vinifying it with the best of French and Australian practice
  • Sarah Marrocco – Vinteloper’s dynamo and self-proclaimed wine and grape keeper, who’ll walk you through the vineyard before a tasting at their stunning cellar door, winner of the 2026 Best Of Wine Tourism Award for Architecture and Landscape in South Australia
  • Agnes Wyszomirska – Wine Room Manager and sommelier at Ondeen, hosting our dinner in Verdun and guiding us through the local wines she loves best
  • Kathy Drogemuller – Of Paracombe Wines, a FLWS member favourite and one of the Hills’ most respected family producers, joining our dinner at the Crafers Hotel to share her wines and her story
  • Jane Bromley – Recipient of the Vin de Champagne Award and the Diploma d’Honneur from the Corporation des Vignerons de Champagne, pouring her ultra small batch sparkling and still wines at her family-run Honey Moon Vineyard

More Reasons Why You’ll Love This Tour:

  • Exclusive tastings with the women in wine of the Adelaide Hills, each sharing her craft and story firsthand.
  • Intimate visits that go beyond the pour: vineyard walks with the makers, small batch wines and one of the most architecturally celebrated cellar doors in the country.
  • Dinner in the historic Lord Nelson Room at the Crafers Hotel, at a private dinner hosted by Kathy Drogemuller of Paracombe Wines
  • Seasonal, locally sourced dining, from foraged botanicals at Ondeen to share platters at the cellar doors and a farewell brunch by the award-winning Otto’s Bakehouse.
  • Boutique stays in the heart of Adelaide and right on Hahndorf’s gorgeous main street.
  • Be fully escorted by Camilla Dickinson, your warm and knowledgeable South Australian wine host who brings the region to life!

The Essentials

+ - Tour Itinerary

Adelaide Hills – the itinerary

4 days /3 nights · 26 – 29 November 2026

Please Note: While we fully expect the program to run as described, wineries, venues, hosts and timings sometimes need to be altered for reasons beyond our control. Any change will be of equal quality and character, and the spirit of the tour will always remain the same.

Day 1 – Thursday 26 November: Hello, Adelaide

Your Adelaide Hills adventure begins in Australia’s official ‘Great Wine Capital’, Adelaide. Make your way to the Adabco Boutique Hotel in the heart of Adelaide, where you’ll have time to settle in, freshen up and get frocked up for the evening ahead.

Tonight we gather for a warm welcome dinner at one of the city’s top restaurants. This is the perfect opportunity to meet your host and your fellow fabulous guests over a beautiful meal and exceptional wines, and to raise a glass to the days ahead.

Accommodation: Adabco Boutique Hotel, Adelaide (or similar)

Meals: Dinner

Day 2 – Friday 27 November: Into the Hills

After breakfast we check out and head for the Hills, where the temperature drops a couple of degrees and the scenery turns positively storybook.

First stop is Deviation Road, the boutique, family-owned home of some of Australia’s very best sparkling wine. Winemaker Kate Laurie studied her craft at the Lycée Viticole d’Avize in Champagne itself, and it shows in every glass. Kate will walk us through her wines and how she makes them, before lunch at the cellar door: generous share platters piled with local produce.

Then it’s on to Hahndorf, the gorgeous little Hills town where we check in to the Reisen Hotel. Set right on the main street, Reisen combines a pretty setting with excellent amenities, and you’ll have time for a rest (or a wander past the shops) before the evening begins.

Tonight we dine at Ondeen in the nearby township of Verdun, where Agnes Wyszomirska, Ondeen’s Wine Room Manager and sommelier has a curated a selection of wines for us to try over dinner. The kitchen forages and sources botanicals and produce from farmers in the local community, creating an ever-changing seasonal shared menu with culinary excellence firmly front of mind.

Accommodation: Reisen Hotel, Hahndorf

Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner

Day 3 – Saturday 28 November: Vineyard views and a very good cellar

Enjoy a slow breakfast before we head to Tapanappa, where Lucy Croser will pour the DAOSA sparkling range she co-produces with her partner (who happens to be from the Champagne Bollinger family!). Lucy is the daughter of Australian sparkling legend Brian Croser AO, and she and her team grow exceptional fruit from carefully chosen vineyard sites, then vinify it using the best of French and Australian practice. We’ll taste with cheese and charcuterie plates on the table and vineyard views in every direction.

Next stop is Vinteloper, winner of the 2026 Best Of Wine Tourism Award for Architecture and Landscape in South Australia. Our host is the dynamo Sarah Marrocco, self-proclaimed wine and grape keeper, who will lead us through the vineyard before a tasting of Vinteloper’s small batch wines in their stunning cellar door. Lunch is a seasonal shared platter celebrating South Australian produce from independent artisans farming sustainably and responsibly.

Then it’s back to Hahndorf for some well-earned downtime. You’ll want it, because tonight is a good one.

Dinner is at the Crafers Hotel, arguably one of Australia’s best hotels and nationally awarded, including for South Australia’s best wine cellar. We’ll dine in the historic Lord Nelson Room over three courses matched with wonderful selections from that famous cellar. And we have a guest. Kathy Drogemuller of Paracombe Wines is joining us at the table to share her wines and her story, straight from one of the Hills’ most respected family producers.

Accommodation: Reisen Hotel, Hahndorf

Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Day 4 – Sunday 29 November: One last glorious morning

After breakfast and check-out we save something rather special for last. This morning you’ll be personally hosted by Jane Bromley, recipient of the Vin de Champagne Award and the Diploma d’Honneur from the Corporation des Vignerons de Champagne. Jane’s Honey Moon Vineyard is a small, family-run grape growing and winemaking venture, and her ultra small batch sparkling and still wines are a genuine rarity. Delicious morsels from the award-winning Otto’s Bakehouse will keep brunch flowing alongside the tasting.

From here we transfer you directly to Adelaide Airport, arriving by 2.00pm, so any flight from 3.00pm onwards is safe to book.

Meals: Breakfast, brunch

Why Our Tours Are Truly Different

This isn’t just a wine tour. It’s something far rarer.

Wine is our way in, and the doors it opens are what make it unforgettable. These are private experiences arranged just for us: tastings you’d never get on your own, and personal welcomes from the women behind the wines themselves – and getting them in the room on the right day takes months of quiet coordination.

The company is every bit as considered. These tours are made for our FLWS community, so you’re never thrown in with strangers. You might arrive not knowing a soul, but you’re among your people from the very first glass.
