DAY 1 –  Thursday 8 October

Welcome to Adelaide – and the start of your Women in Wine All Stars getaway

Your McLaren Vale adventure begins in one of Australia’s most loveable cities. Make your way to the gorgeous Hotel Indigo near the Adelaide Markets – a beautifully restored building right in the heart of Adelaide – where you’ll have time to settle in, freshen up, and get frocked up for the evening ahead.

Tonight we gather for a warm welcome dinner at a nearby restaurant. This is the perfect opportunity to meet your host and your fellow fabulous guests over a beautiful meal and exceptional wines, raise a glass to the days ahead, and ease into the All Stars spirit in the very best way.

Day 2 – Friday 9 October 2026

Brilliant women, beautiful wines, and a dinner with THAT view 

After breakfast we depart for McLaren Vale! The Vale (as the locals call it) sits snugly between the Mount Lofty Ranges and the Gulf of St Vincent, where the sea breeze keeps things interesting and the wine is nothing short of magnificent.

Our first stop is Larnook Wines, where we’ll spend a gorgeous morning with the award-winning superstar that is Alexia Roberts. A winemaker best known for her acclaimed work at Penny’s Hill and now the proud creator of her very own label. A private vineyard tour, tasting and morning tea with Lexi is the kind of start to a day that sets the tone beautifully.

Then it’s time for a private cellar lunch at Orbis Wines with two of our absolute favourite women in wine, Verity Cowley and Kendall Grey. Orbis is one of McLaren Vale’s most thrilling emerging estates – a regenerative vineyard built on sustainability, Mediterranean varieties and a genuine love of making wines that are, as Verity puts it, ‘made with the Aussie lifestyle in mind’. Here you’ll enjoy a beautiful private cellar lunch matched to their wines, and if you’ve met Verity and Kendall at a Fabulous Ladies event before, you already know what a treat this afternoon is going to be.

After lunch, you’ll check into your room at Serafino and have some time to stretch the legs with a walk around the beautiful grounds.

This evening we head to The Star of Greece, which is one of the most spectacular restaurant settings in the entire region, perched above the coastline with views that will genuinely stop you mid-conversation. Dinner is a three-course affair with wines personally selected by your host. It’s the kind of evening that gets talked about long after you’ve come home.

Day 3 – Saturday 10 October 2026 

A day spent with some of McLaren Vale’s most extraordinary women, and a very good evening with pizza

After breakfast we head to Bosworth Wines to meet the gorgeous Louise Hemsley-Smith for a tasting and some wonderful one-on-one time with one of the region’s most beloved personalities. Louise is warm, generous with her knowledge, and the kind of woman you leave feeling genuinely inspired by. Her wines are rather brilliant too.

From Bosworth we make our way to one of McLaren Vale’s most storied and significant estates, Angove Family Winemakers, where we’ll be hosted for a tasting tour and lunch by two of the family’s most passionate custodians – sisters Victoria Angove and Sophie Angove. The Angove story is a genuinely extraordinary one: a fifth-generation family business founded in 1886, now one of Australia’s leading organic and biodynamic winemakers, with their beautiful cellar door nestled in the certified organic Warboys Vineyard in the heart of McLaren Vale. Victoria is Joint Managing Director and has been driving the family’s premium wine evolution since 2001. Sophie, a viticulturist with a deep passion for plant science and sustainability, tends the very vines whose fruit ends up in your glass. Together they are the kind of women who make you understand why family businesses done well are something truly special. Lunch here is exceptional, and the wines will be rather wonderful too 🙂

The evening brings a wonderfully relaxed change of pace: a casual night of pizza and wine at Oliver’s Taranga with the brilliant Corrina Wright and Brioni Oliver, who are opening their cellar door after dark just for us. These two extraordinary women will share their stories, their wines, and their irresistible passion for this remarkable region. It’s one of those evenings that feels easy and intimate and goes on just a little longer than planned!

Day 4 – Sunday 11 October 2026

One final, magical wine experience and then the real world calls

After a light breakfast and check-out, we make our way to Dandelion Wines for a truly beautiful final chapter. Elena Brooks – fabulous woman in wine, founder, co-owner, winemaker and so much more – hosts us for a stunning Sunday brunch and tasting in one of the most spectacular wine settings you’ll ever sit in. It’s the kind of farewell that makes you want to come back immediately.

We finish at Dandelion and transfer directly to Adelaide Airport, arriving by 1:30pm. Flights are recommended from 2:15pm onwards.
