Our popular McLaren Vale “All Stars” tour is on again for 2023! Join us 14 – 17 September for the ultimate long-weekend to this world-leading Australian wine region. You’ll visit the homes, vineyards and cellars of some of our favourite women in wine as they personally host you on their home turf!
These are women we’ve been working with and running events with over for the last 10 years. Our ALL-STARS! And you’ll be personally hosted by each and every one of them.
We’ve planned three full days and nights of VIP fabulous wine experiences with:

Get ready for personal meet-and-greets and guided tastings by these incredible women of wine at their own cellar door, access to rare and hard to find wines from their portfolio, plus a few other tasty surprises and more.
And between all that wine we’ve got some glorious dining and sightseeing happening too!
As always, our wine tours focus on women in wine, are conducted in partnership with our friends at Travelling Divas and are fully escorted by FLWS founder Jane Thomson. With a maximum of just 12 guests, our tours are both intimate and loads of fun! They also happen to be the ONLY all-women wine tours in Australia.

DAY 1 – THURSDAY 14: WELCOME TO ADELAIDE AND THE START OF YOUR STAR STRUCK WINE JOURNEY
Make your way from the airport to your home tonight Adina Treasury Apartment Hotel, where you will be met on arrival by your host.
Settle in, relax, maybe explore nearby and then get frocked up for your night as VIP guests of the Adelaide Fabulous Ladies Wine Soiree where you will enjoy a fab and very fun start to your Women in Wine *All Stars* getaway.
Back to hotel and goodnight!

DAY 2 – FRIDAY 15: TO MCLAREN VALE WE GO – AND WINE ADVENTURES GALORE
After breakfast this morning, you will join your fellow wine lovers and transfer to McLaren Vale.
First stop is Larnook Wines for a private vineyard tour, tasting and morning tea with Alexia Roberts. Lexi is an award winning winemaker, best known for her work at Penny’s Hill, now with her very own brand!
Next stop is Gemtree Wines, where you will meet the incredible Melissa Brown, co-owner and viticulturist. You will enjoy an insiders view of the biodynamic winemaking process (as well as a delicious wine tasting) followed by lunch platters and more of their gorgeous vino.
Time to check in to your accommodation at Serafino’s in McLaren Vale. This evening we are heading out to The Star of Greece, a top restaurant nearby and one with a view to die for! Dinner tonight is a three course affair including delicious wines selected by Jane.
Back to the hotel for a great night’s sleep after a gorgeous day and to get ready for tomorrow!!

DAY 3 – SATURDAY 16: FABULOUS WINES, GORGEOUS DINING AND SO MUCH MORE
Post breakfast we will depart for a wine tasting at the fabulous Battle of Bosworth and meet the gorgeous Louise Hemsley-Smith. Enjoy a delicious tasting and the opportunity for some on-on-one time with this very fabulous lady.
We then head to the private residence of Bec Hardy for a fabulous and VERY exclusive visit. Bec’s family has been tending vineyards in McLaren Vale since the early 1850s when her great-great-great grandfather, Thomas Hardy, arrived from the UK. In 2015, Bec decided to make her own way in the Australian wine world and founded Bec Hardy Wines. In 2020, she acquired the Pertaringa wine brand from Wines by Geoff Hardy (her dad!), becoming the first woman in the family to own vineyards and produce her own wine! We enjoy a delicious lunch here accompanied by her delightful wines.
Then this evening, we are away to Oliver’s Taranga, to meet Corrina Wright & Brioni Oliver, for a casual night of pizzas and wine. This incredible duo will share their stories and experiences.

DAY 4 – SUNDAY 17: A MORNING OF FINAL FABULOUS WINE AND TIME TO GO
This morning indulge in a light brekky as it is then time to check out, depart and arrive at Dandelion for our last fabulous wine experience with Elena Brooks, fabulous woman, founder, co-owner, winemaker and more. A beautiful brunch and tasting (in one of the most spectacular wine settings ever) creating a magical end to this great escape.
We will finish here and then transfer directly to Adelaide Airport, arriving by 1.30pm at the latest. So flights are safe from 2.10 onwards!
