Barossa. Be consumed in 2019.

Barossa. Be Consumed, the one-day events which encapsulate the best of Barossa are back in Sydney and Melbourne this July. In 2019 the dial has been set to fabulous with Turkey Flat, Schild Estate, Poonawatta, Irvine Wines and Atze’s Corner joining over 45 of their closest friends.

New additions to the events’ packed schedules of wine tastings, music and food are the Meet the Maker Sessions, to be hosted by seriously fabulous ladies of wine; Samantha Payne and Clare Burder in Sydney and Melbourne respectively.

Payne and Burder share their love of wine, Barossa and good conversation throughout the intimate, 45-minute sessions. They will direct the trademark energy and enthusiasm of each panel of winemakers, crafting an intimate picture of Barossa’s wine and enviable lifestyle. Tales will be told, rare wines discovered and new friendships will be formed.

Samantha Payne said “When you drink wines crafted in the Barossa, what’s in your glass cannot be mistaken for any other region in the world. Every sip you take shows layered dimensions of flavour and a distinct sense of place. The Barossa. Be Consumed event gives you the chance to explore these wines (and the region’s vast history) in an engaging and fun setting; a deep-dive into South Australia’s best-known region.”

Guests are invited to ‘be consumed’ in one or all of the Meet the Maker Sessions, exploring:

“Barossa represents the perfect combination of legacy and excitement for the future; boldness,
definition and drinkability. The sessions at Barossa. Be Consumed explore these ideas and get the
inside story from the people who live and breathe this region,” said Clare Burder.
