Adelaide Hills Winter Reds Festival 28 – 30 July 2017

Shrug off your jacket. Shake your scarf free. Close the door against the icy wind. There’s a log fire crackling and your face starts glowing. You pour a warming glass of red and take in the alluring aroma of a slowly cooked braise. Settle in to a cosy leather chair with a dog curled up at your feet… perfection!

Head for the hills – the Adelaide Hills – on the weekend of 28 – 30 July 2017 where wineries will be opening their doors and warming your hearts and palates with delicious red wine, great food and more.

This year’s theme is ‘Play with Fire’ and wineries and venues throughout the Adelaide Hills will be running events which range from exclusive ticketed lunches, dinners and wine tastings, to relaxed venues offering rustic food, alluring wine, live entertainment and warming fires. Many are also family friendly.

Admission to general events is free, and food, wine and other beverages can be purchased separately. The official souvenir Spiegelau wine glass is available for $10 at all general events and is your ‘passport’ to purchase wine wherever you go. Entertainment, food, facilities, costs and accessibility all vary depending on venue.

Of course, make sure you tell them you’re a fabulous lady wherever you visit with your glass in hand!
