A glam new pop-up hotel is visiting three Victorian wineries

We’d all love to wake up in luxury each morning nestled among the vines, right? Now you can thanks to a brand new ‘pop-up’ hotel which is heading to three Victorian wine regions this Autumn / Winter 2019.

Wine Down Pop Up is a unique pop-up vineyard escape in the form of two beautifully crafted eco-luxury pods which will take turns to be located at three premier Victorian wine regions from April to July 2019.

The pods feature classy finishes that you’d expect in the best hotels, plus bi-fold doors that open onto a private deck, a queen sized bed with Cultiver linen, private bathroom, minibar, continental breakfast, and the kicker of a hot tub.

With bookings now available, visitors can use the Wine Down Pop Up accommodation as a hub to explore each region’s acclaimed culinary and artisanal experiences or simply as an excuse for a quick vineyard escape.

Included in the stay are a bespoke winery experience and complimentary bottle of wine. Optional local experiences, gourmet food hampers and picnic packs are also available.

Wine Pop Up will open on the doorstep of the famed Wilsons Promontory at South Gippsland’s Waratah Hills Vineyard, mainland Australia’s most southern winery, from April 3 to April 27. Located just six kilometres from the beautiful Fish Creek township, Waratah Hills is recognised as one of Australia’s best locations for the production of Pinot Noir.

It will then move to Dal Zotto Wines in the heart of the King Valley from May 6 to June 2. A cornerstone on the popular Prosecco Road, Dal Zotto has pioneered the sparkling Italian variety since the family planted the first Prosecco grapes twenty years ago. Visitors can experience genuine Italian family hospitality and the the true “la dolce vita” lifestyle at this beautiful Victorian country setting.

Macedon’s family owned Mount Towrong Vineyard will host the third and final location for thetemporary retreatfrom June 7 to July 7. Guests can beat the winter chill with a cosy short break to the romantic region just 60 kilometres from Melbourne.
